Payman Sattar M.D.

Cardiologist (Telemedicine)

Payman Sattar, M.D., M.S., F.A.C.C., is an accomplished interventional cardiologist with more than 25 years of clinical, academic, and leadership experience. He completed his Doctor of Medicine at Rush Medical College in Chicago, followed by residency training in Internal Medicine and a Cardiology Fellowship at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center. He also holds a Master of Science in Molecular Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Illinois.

Board-certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease, and Internal Medicine, Dr. Sattar has served in prominent clinical and academic roles, including Interventional Cardiologist with VitalSolution, Assistant Professor at Rush University Medical Center, and long-term Attending Cardiologist at both Rush University Medical Center and Cook County/Stroger Hospital. His leadership experience includes directing Cardiology Catheterization Labs, Cardiology Clinics, Lipid Clinics, and Echocardiography programs.

Throughout his career, Dr. Sattar has been recognized for his diagnostic expertise, procedural skill, and commitment to advancing cardiovascular care. He holds active medical licenses in New Mexico, Oklahoma, Illinois, Texas, and Kansas, and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is also a member of the American Medical Association, the Illinois Medical Society, and the American College of Physicians.
