George Brasinikas M.D.
Pathologist

 George Brasinikas is a board-certified pathologist with extensive experience in laboratory medicine, transfusion services, and healthcare leadership. He currently serves as Chief of Pathology and Laboratory Director for multiple facilities, including Gallup Indian Medical Center, Tohachi Medical Center, Rehoboth McKinley Christian Health Care Services, and Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility, providing oversight for laboratory operations, blood bank services, and regulatory compliance.

Dr. Brasinikas completed his AP/CP pathology residency at Birmingham Baptist Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident, and earned his Doctor of Medicine from Universidad Tecnológica de Santiago (UTESA). He holds active medical licenses in New Mexico, Tennessee, and Florida and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pathology.

Throughout his career, he has held key leadership roles on surgical case review, blood utilization, and quality committees, contributed to medical research and publications, and received multiple awards recognizing his impact on patient care and community health. He is a Fellow of the College of American Pathologists (FCAP) and the American Society for Clinical Pathology (FASCP).
