Mark Werner is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with more than three decades of experience in general orthopedics and total joint reconstruction, with a particular focus on anterior approach total hip arthroplasty. He currently practices with Lovelace Medical Group in Albuquerque, performing hospital-based surgery and providing both elective and emergency orthopedic care.
Dr. Werner served in multiple leadership and clinical roles, including Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at the New Mexico VA Healthcare System and Chief of Surgery or Orthopedics at several U.S. Air Force medical centers. A retired Air Force Colonel, he provided orthopedic care in combat zones and on humanitarian missions, earning multiple commendations including the Legion of Merit.
He is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the Society of Military Orthopedic Surgeons.

Dr. Naga Suresh Cheppalli is a board-certified (ABOS) orthopedic surgeon with extensive training with multiple fellowships in Trauma, Foot and Ankle surgeries, Joint replacement, and Sports medicine. He worked in India, UK, Australia, and different parts of the USA. He currently practices at the Raymond G. Murphy VA Medical Center and Lovelace Medical Centre in Albuquerque and serves as a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of New Mexico.
Dr. Cheppalli has a strong interest in robotic joint replacement and arthroscopic surgeries. He is one of the few surgeons who can offer musculoskeletal ultrasound in the state, and he pioneered a few innovative approaches to complex orthopedic problems.
His academic work includes numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations in the areas of orthopedics.
He has been recognized for excellence in patient care, teaching, and has received multiple awards for clinical innovation and quality improvement. His name has been listed multiple years as one of the best orthopedic surgeons in Albuquerque Magazine.
