The RMCHCS Emergency Room is located on the main floor of the hospital and is open 24/7/365. The emergency room responds to life-threatening illness or injury that requires immediate attention.
The emergency room team is made up of skilled providers, nurses, and technicians who provide compassionate, expert, and individualized clinical care. When you arrive at the ER, your medical condition is evaluated and an assessment of your needs is made. To ensure patients receive the very finest care, the most severe cases are seen first – but in all cases, the team strives to minimize wait time for every patient.
Patient safety and quality care is a priority at RMCHCS, and the multidisciplinary team of health care providers is able to effectively treat patients with a wide spectrum of acute illnesses.
