Job Title: Orthopedic Surgeon- Red Rock Clinic

Job Summary:

Position Summary:
Orthopedic Surgeon will treat patients who require specialist orthopedic procedures to remedy conditions, such as scoliosis, dislocations and fractures, and damage to tendons, muscles, and ligaments. Services are provided in both the inpatient and outpatient setting and include consulting with patients, discussing treatment options, treating patients, overseeing aftercare and physical therapy, and coordinating with other specialists, when necessary. The Orthopedic Surgeon must be able to perform various surgical procedures to repair, salvage, or replace bones and joints, reconnect nerves, among others, in order to improve musculoskeletal health.

Job Requirements:

Basic Qualifications Education: • Medical degree (MD, DO) from an accredited institution required. • Successful completion of a residency program in Orthopedic Surgery required. • Successful completion of a fellowship program preferred. Experience: • Minimum of one (1) year experience in Orthopedic Surgery preferred. Required Licensure/Certification(s): • Unrestricted New Mexico State Medical License • Federal DEA Certification • Board Certification or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery required. Expectation is Board Certification within two years of hire. • Current ACLS and/or BLS Certifications required • Current PALS Certification required, if treating pediatric patients
