Job Title: RAD/CT Tech

Job Summary:

Under the limited supervision of the Director of Diagnostic Imaging, the Radiographer performs radiographic procedures. As with all diagnostic Imaging Technologists, the Radiology Technologist is qualified to care for patients in the following age groups: neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. The Radiographer is responsible for completing all duties as assigned.
Under the limited supervision of the Director of Diagnostic Imaging, the CT/MRI Tech will perform CT and/or MRI diagnostic tests for patients as ordered with minimal to no supervision. All CT/MRI Techs are qualified to care for patient in the following age groups: neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. The CT/MRI Tech is responsible for completing all duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education: • Graduation from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program and/or equivalent combination of training and experience as accepted by accrediting agencies is required. • Continued training in CT and/or MRI on the job training in CT and/or MRI is required. Experience: • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Radiology Technology experience, with CT experience preferred. Required Licensure/Certification(s): • Current NM State License and American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) license required. • Current verification in Basic Life Support (If BLS verification is not current upon hire, must be obtained within three (3) months of hire.)
