Job Title: Patient Access Clerk

Job Summary:

The Patient Access Clerk (PAC) performs all duties associated with the efficient scheduling and registration of patients in the outpatient settings. The PAC enters and verifies demographic and insurance information, identifies and collects patient financial obligations and registers the patient. The PAC is customer service driven and has the ability to effective promote a positive patient and family experience, exhibits empathy, engages in compassionate collections, and demonstrates strong communication skills.

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent or a combination of experience in lieu of a diploma is required. One (1) year experience in a hospital, clinic, or other healthcare setting preferred.
