Job Title: EVS Manager

Job Summary:

The Environmental Services (EVS) Manager performs duties of considerable difficulty under the general
direction of the Director of Materials Management. The Environmental Services Manager will provide
leadership, direction and management oversight for the continuous improvement of the EVS department.
The Environmental Services (EVS) Manager manages the day-to-day operations of the department to ensure a consistently high level of cleanliness and appearance to patients, visitors and staff

Job Requirements:

Two (2) years’ healthcare housekeeping experience, with a minimum of two-year supervisory experience required, or any equivalent combination of training and experience. • Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills. • Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point preferred. • High personal standards in regard to facility cleanliness and its effect on public perception and patient comfort. Knowledge of health care codes and standards as they pertain to the environment of care and infection control. Must have valid driver’s license and be eligible to be insured under RMCHCS vehicle liability policy.
