Job Title: Emergency Department (ED) Director

Education: * Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing required. * Bachelor of Science in Nursing or required within 5 years of hire. Experience: * Minimum of three (3) years’ nursing experience required. * Minimum of two (2) years’ clinical and leadership experience preferred. Required Licensure/Certification(s): * Current RN license to practice professional Nursing in the State of New Mexico or acceptable compact state RN licensure required. * Current verification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support required (If ACLS verification is not current upon hire, must be obtained within 3 months of hire). * Current verification in Basic Life Support. (If BLS verification is not current upon hire must be obtained within three (3) months of hire). * Must complete PALS, ENPC, and TNCC within six (6) months of hire.
