Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Summary:

Position Summary:
Under supervision of the Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for provision of age-appropriate and culturally sensitive physical therapy care including treatments, modalities, patient education and instruction for Wellness Center and hospital inpatient clients. Duties are of great difficulty and are based on principles and standards of physical therapy practice. The Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for completing all duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
Education:
* Completion of an Associate's degree physical therapist assistant program from an accredited school required.

Experience:
* One (1) year experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.

Job Requirements:

Licensure & Certifications: * Current license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the State of New Mexico required. * Current verification in Basic Life Support required (If BLS verification is not current upon hire, must be obtained within 3 months of hire).
