Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse is responsible to the Unit Director to provide age-appropriate and culturally sensitive care to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Competency is evaluated based on assessment of the nurse’s ability to utilize the nursing process as it applies to formulating an appropriate plan for care and analyzing the effectiveness of interventions. Duties are of considerable difficulty and are based on scientific principles and standards of nursing practice. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for completing all duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Education:
* Associate's Degree in Nursing or Diploma Program is required.
* Bachelor’s in Nursing is preferred.
Experience:
* Weekend Pool, one (1) year minimum experience required.
* Demonstrates ability to correctly interpret cardiac rhythms and implement appropriate intervention.
* Demonstrates ability to provide care that is appropriate for age, culture and disease process for Pediatrics, Adults, Adolescents and Geriatrics.
